Tina Polite, CEO

Tina Polite has more than 20 years of experience in public relations and communications. She attended Xavier University in New Orleans, La., with a major in Mass Communications, and earned her degree at Specs Howard School of Journalism and Broadcast Arts in Detroit, Mich., graduating in the top percentage of her class.

Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Public Relations/Communications for The Potter’s House of Dallas, Inc. She was responsible for the planning, implementation, development and coordination of all public relations and reputation management strategies for Bishop T.D. Jakes and The Potter’s House.

Before then, she has worked at the Executive Office of Public Affairs at The Ford World Headquarters in Detroit, Mich., worked as the Director of Marketing for Polite Communications, Inc., Director of Public Relations for Harrah’s Entertainment Corp. and The Ogdan Corporation’s Jazzland Theme Park in New Orleans, La. Tina also worked as part of the foundational marketing team to bring the first Essence Musical Festival to completion in 1995. Her skills and accomplishments include writing independent films, and generating hundreds of marketing-oriented news releases in the regional and national mainstream. She has been the recipient of the Amoco Collegiate Excellence Award for Creative Writing and the esteemed Angel Award for independent film production. In addition, she is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Women in Communications and the National Council of Women in Film.

Richard Polite, Broadcast Television/Film and Video Production

Creative excellence has always been in the forefront of Richard Polite’s work. Richard began his career producing for an ABC affiliate eventually winning five television Ace Awards for a signature network music series. Richard segued from production to management— building network television stations across the country while pursuing his master’s in film, Richard wrote for the CBN Christian network and produced several of its highest-rated programs. Richard also taught writing for television and film at Hampton University in Hampton, Va. During his writing career, Richard won an Angel Award for his first independent film and had the first Christian video ever to be featured on the MTV network.

Richard and his work have been profiled in numerous print articles as well as being interviewed on the Family Channel, the BET Network, Bravo, Trio and MTV. Richard comes to us with over 20 years of both corporate and creative TV and film experience.

Richard has a bachelor of arts in communications from Xavier University and a master’s in film production from CBN University, where he also worked as an executive producer for many years producing promotions for well-known programming like the Emmy-Award winning Scarecrow and Mrs. King and Remington Steele to name just a few. Richard has also produced for Lesea Broadcasting, Lester Summerall and The Promise Keepers Organization.
